Re: Gordon Ramsey

With chef Gino and a friend called Fred, Gordon toured southern Italy in a campervan; Naples,Sorrento and Sardegna, where chef Gino comes from, and where they had to prepare a meal for the wedding of Gino's friend, married to an english gi...

Re: Will I? Won't I? Such a choice

Look, at the end of the day we are all human. It must be terrible losing a partner after 70 + years married. Well I lost my partner after 32 years of marriage and I can tell you its much worse. I was only 56 and had all my life in front of me. At least they had the possibility of enjoying all their...

Re: The Windy City

That sounds like a fantastic day out Jean. I’ve never been to Milan but it is on my list. George and I have had a lot of discussion on what life is going to be like when we do rejoin the rest of the world. I just can’t imagine walking into a crowded pub, or sitting in a busy restaurant let alone ju...

Grease

Never get tired of watching this film. The music, the dancing, the story, Olivia Newton John and John Travolta. Must be the best musical of all time. It came out the year my daughter was born, now her children love to watch it.

I do support AC Milan, but I have never been to a football match! Cheers! I went to the San Siro in 2005, one of my fav...

The Windy City

Last Wednesday, after more than 7/8 years, I had to go back to the city of Milan, a 40 minute train journey from Home. So many changes in that time, train tickets bought online and presented to the controller on your telephone....coming back bought on a vending machine in the station. Things that I ...

See on the A&S Herald that it's almost a year since our dear Milda passed away. So sad.
My heart goes out to her family.
