Couldn’t really sleep last night - and was hit with a memory of lying in the dark on a winters night listening to the foghorn in Ardrossan. Was it located at the harbour - anybody remember?

It’s so sad that all these handsome young men were lost in the Great War. The topic also reminds me of George McIntyre (geomcintyre) a schoolmate of Canfactory and myself who did such wonderful research into the military - and was honoured at the Shot at Dawn Memorial at the National Memorial Arbore...
