For He only takes the best.
Inserted by their daughter Elsie, 32 Merryvale Road, Irvine.
Whatever else we fail to do,
We never fail to think of you.

To let you know I still remember.

We think of him today with love,
As we have done so often,
And we feel once more the sudden blow,
That does not seem to soften.
Parting comes and hearts are broken,
Loved ones go with words unspoken;
Life goes on, we know that's true,
But not the same since we lost you.
They say time heals all sorrow,
And helps us to forget;
But time so far has only shown
How much we miss him yet.
Inserted by his loving Wife and Family, 15 Beaton Terrace, Irvine.

Inserted by his loving wife Harriet and Family.
STEWART - Cherished memories of our beloved mother and devoted granny, Sarah Forbes Forsythe, died February 7 1970.
To me she was someone special,
Someone set apart,
Her memory will live forever,
Engraved within my heart.
As I wander to her graveside,
And place each flower with care,
No one knows the heartache
As I turn and leave her there.
I miss you Mum and always will.
Inserted by her loving daughter Roberta, son-in-law John, 19 Middlepart Crescent, Saltcoats.
God took my Granny from this world,
But not from my heart.
Her loving grandson David.
I stood beside your bedside, Mum,
I watched you fade away;
Your spirit flew before I knew
That you from us had gone.
They say memories are golden,
Well, maybe that is true;
But I never wanted memories,
I only wanted you.
If tears could build a staircase,
And memories were a lane,
I'd walk my way to heaven, Mum
And bring you back again.
Inserted by her loving daughter Jean, John, 8 Lawson Drive, Ardrossan.
Till roses lose their petals,
And heather lose its dew,
Till the end of time, Granny,
We will remember you.
Hazel, Shirley, John and Pauline.
We were not there to see you die,
To hold your hand and say goodbye,
No word of warning, no last farewell,
But in our hearts you'll always dwell.
The wound is deep, it will not heal,
Only God knows how I feel;
To lose a Mum as good as you
Remains a heartache all life through.
Inserted by her loving son Angus, daughter-in-law Kitty, London.
God bless and keep you, Granny.
Jean, Angus, Malcolm, Anthony and Mark.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Two working hands at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
Inserted by her loving son Malcolm, London.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
A cluster of beautiful memories,
Sprayed with a million tears;
Wishing that God had spared you
For just a few more years.
Inserted by her loving daughter Cathleen, son-in-law Tommy, Isle of Man.
Goodnight Granny.
Tommy and Vester.
God's greatest gift, remembrance.
Sister Meg, Coventry.
