Thank you for the reply. I'm now of the opinion that Haycock's Lodge and Hayock's Lodge are one and the same and the former possibly a transcription error.

Hayocks Lodge is shown on these maps, near the bottom.
The first one is from 1895 and the second one from 1938.

Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place. I've come across several instances of "Haycock's Lodge" in census returns, probate records & elsewhere and wonder if this is the same place as "Hayock's House" now the Ardchoille Hotel?
