A couple of nice Snapper, caught by holidaymakers on our local Portarlington pier here in Oz - this is not common from the pier.

2 nice fish Hughie, and by all accounts red snapper are quite tasty. Is the pier a man made structure, it looks like a breakwater with all the boulders in situ.

Yes, it is a breakwater, Neil. The pier is a wooden structure, behind it where the mussel farm boats and leisure craft berth. Folks walk the breakwater tarmac and return via the pier. Our mussel festival is this Saturday.
