Introduction

Post by John Donnelly »

Hello,
I'm John Donnelly from Stevenston. My father had the newsagents and sweetshop in the Boglemart. I went to St John's and St Michael's and left the towns when I was 19. I lived in England for years then met a Dutch girl, married her and have been living here in Holland for the last 32 years. Have two sons and five grand-daughters.

John,
If I remember correctly John you were a keen cyclist. You may even have delivered papers for you dad (Harry Donnely) on your bike. my father used to get his paper from your dad;s shop every day. My dad lived in the pensioers house behind the Grange.

Tommy,
that was me right enough. The keen cyclist was my older brother Gerry.
