Just in case any of you are plane spotters , here's a link to some nice photos of the Airbus 380 at Dusseldorf last Sunday. It was on a short visit before the world tour started today.

Sorry it's in German . As always just click on the thumbnails to enlarge. If you want to go through them one by one, click on "Nächstes Bild" for next, "Vorheriges Bild" for previous, and "Zurück" takes you back to the thumbnails.
p.s. Yep, number 2 is a dog..... it's in the wrong album

Irene I can't believe the size of that thing, is that the kind of jets you have to go on? it must take you forever to get your work done on it. Their smashing pictures, an I could'nt get over that dog, he looks just like my daughter's dog Sadie. Thanks for putting them in for us Irene cheers

It won't come regularly to Dusseldorf, Josephine (whew). We're just planned as a diversion airport in case of bad weather. Sunday was just a test to see if there would be any problems if it did have to land here. The biggest ones we have are the B747 and an Antonov which can carry 100 tons of cargo (compared to the "big yin" with 150 tons). The Atlas Air B747 in one of the pics is actually our customer, and even that looks dwarfed beside the Airbus.....
BTW if you go to the same link and then klick on "NRWs schönster Mischlingshund" on the right under "Themen", there are some more nice dog pics.....
Take care.....Irene
