That was `weird seeing Betty Walkers name in one of the school
photos. I seen her when I was back in August, me and my sister made a point to go and see her in the shop she works.
She was moving to "Turkey " a couple of weeks later
We even seen pics of her house etc.
Us Scots continue to scatter everywhere

Hi Mac,

No, those details came from Elizabeth (Betty Havlin) McNeil. They were given to her by her cousin Ann Havlin. I believe Ann has a sister Margaret who was at the HG with my wife.

I'll be posting the names for the HG 1956/57 Class shortly.

Thanks Hughie,
I had a friend in the Station Square (late 40's early 50's) called Jim (or John Havlin). Got me wondering whether these ladies are any relations?
(I suppose that would be too co-incedental!)

Hi Norman, I see you posted a pic along with Ann Havlin, I often wonder what happened to her ( if it is the same one).
The ann I knew was little and lived up the Hayocks.
She was sooooo cheery.
Joyce. :)

Hi Hughie,

Ref the 1953 picture of the teachers. 2nd row from front 4th from left might be Miss McDonald, not sure though?
