Lovely to see that the competition was won by a Scotsman from BonnyBriggs. - Calum Stevenson 26, who had the pleasure of painting Nicola Benedetti in Westminster Abbey. The painting now hangs in The Scottish National Art Gallery. We got a glimpse of her father GIO, a prominent figure and friend of mine in the 60's in Saltcoats and Stevenson. Really enjoyable programme.

This morning we went to the Banksy art exhibition, a very originale Artist who wants to remain anonymous. Then after lunch went to see a Beatles tribute held on the roof of a seven story indoor car park, just like the real Beatles did on their last appearence together in New York.
With temperatures today at 16c, It was a very pleasant day out.

Definitley male, Born in Bristol in 1974, makes his wealth mocking authority and capitalism, especially in the USA, where his pet hate Is Disneyworld or Dismal world as he calls It.
He lives by the notion that It Is not people who break rules that ruin our world, but the people who MAKE rules.
