Re: Celtic's new Manager?
So they dropped the "Paradise" tag?
Re: Celtic's new Manager?
You're right there brian f and It wisnae long before that particular regular poster was corrected by somebody just a wee bit more knowledgeable. Parkheid indeed! Mind you, on the other side of the coin ah personally think Govan FC's got a great wee ring tae it.brian f wrote: ↑Mon May 16, 2022 8:44 pmHi, Jim if you think thats bad a regular poster on this forum and its worse he was born in glesga had the atrocity of calling the home of the famous ParkheedJim McCreadie wrote: ↑Mon May 16, 2022 3:57 am FC Celtic really? Someone should have done his homework, the team is Celtic FC! It's even on the club crest!
Re: Celtic's new Manager?
I think if you check my post it was the stadium I called parkheid not the team.
Those wimin were in the nip.
Re: Celtic's new Manager?
Yep, of course it was bonzo and to give it it's proper title it's 'Celtic Park' as was originally pointed out.
The thread here seemed to momentarily go of on a wee humorous tangent, Hughie got in on things too. I replied on it myself as it's no big deal to me. If I offended someone I'm struggling to see how I managed to do that.
Re: Celtic's new Manager?
Now it's official Ange is the new manager at Spurs. The first Aussie to take charge of an Epl team. I wish him well as many people in London doubt him as was the case when he arrived at Celtic park.brian f wrote: ↑Fri Feb 11, 2022 8:19 pmKittywake wrote: ↑Fri Feb 11, 2022 7:43 pmYep, Ange has done well up till now by winning the first Trophy of the campaign (the Betfred League Cup) after basically building a new team from scratch in the summer. Top of the League now with 12 matches remaining but I reckon he'll need to win the Premiership Title this season as well before he's fully accepted by Celtic supporters.
As for being spoken about in Boardrooms South of the Border, I doubt he'd even give any such talk like that a second thought .. and rightly so.
Before he is accepted by Celtic supporters? Come on Kittywake.. who do you want God..
Are you trying to tell me if Spurs, Newcastle or the likes of Leeds United approach him maybe not this year but next.. he would turn them down?
Welcome to the Real World.

Re: Celtic's new Manager?
With West Ham beating Fiorentina 2-1 in the Europa Conference League final, that's Moyes out of the equation!
Rodgers? Too many fans will never forgive him for jumping ship.
Lennon? Although hard done by, many fans blame him for missing "ten in a row".
Broonie? Has insufficient managerial experience.
Kennedy? To Spurs with big Ange.

How about Enzo Maresca of Manchester City?
Nothing is ever really lost to us as long as we remember it.
Re: Celtic's new Manager?
McBookie
Have Rodgers a very strong favourite at evens.
Kjetil Knudsen second fav at 4/1
Enzo Maresca 9/2
I have noticed though Sky betting have an unknown "Des Buckingham" at 9/2 behind odd's on Rodgers and Maresca 4/1.
Who is he we ask..

The national is reporting there’s another contender. It’s behind a paywall so didn’t want to post the link but here’s a clip :
“Pascal Jansen is reportedly on a list of names that Parkhead chiefs are considering as a replacement for Ange Postecoglou.”
