Looking forward to the 1921 Census

Post by Hughie »

It seems the 1921 English censuses will be released in January 2022. While Scotlandpeople say the Scottish Census will be released this year 2021 - no month has been mentioned as far as I can see.

Looking forward to this release as both my parents and their families will be mentioned. Dad should be age nine in Wellpark Rd or Esplanade Cottages, Saltcoats. While mum would be in Ardrossan aged 6 she and her brother would be orphaned and living with Cunningham relatives in Princes place or Glasgow Street. We shall see.

Hughie - my dad lived in wellpark road at the same time - he was born in 1910 - so they would have known each other - and probably played out in the street together.

That's probably likely, Meg. Your dad would also be in the 1911 census.
