Always difficult and some folk shy away from it. However its something we all have to do especially with a loved one. Then there are the other goodbyes maybe to a pet a living breathing creature that loved you and is dying. Such feelings should not be suppressed. Moving home from a house you have loved is also difficult. Goodbye house, love you house, love you, never forget you. Human beings are so complex.

I remember when Bubbles my terrapin died in the 70s. I cried in class all morning. We could not wake him up.

Aye, goodbye's are always very difficult, but I suppose what would be far worse would be not having anyone or anything to say goodbye to.
