How Do I ... ?

OS: MS Windows 7
Browser: IE8

Problem: When opening IE8, TWO appear . When I close one, BOTH close .

Hoping someone can advise how to remedy this frustrating fault.
As detailed as possible please - I know just enough about 'pooters to be dangerous. The best way is to PM me.

Have a look at this old topic, it seems to deal with the same problem with IE8 that you are having. In particular see the last post in the topic where it looks like there is a solution.

Thanks for your interest Hughie. I tried the last entry first for no result, then tried others for same result.
Think I may "Google" and see what I can locate. However, I'm always wary about "advice" from Tom, Dick or Harry with unknown levels of expertise.
