[Poll] Proposed Local Project - your support welcome

Iain, the initiator of our popular topic, Wildlife in Stevenston, has been asked See here if he'd consider placing images and comments on the local wildlife he's photographed in a booklet form. Iain has responded positively and is thinking about producing a small publication comprising a collection of photos and an account of the wildlife in Ardeer, Stevenston.

There is a chance that external funding could be secured to cover the costs of printing such a publication. Evidence of interest in such a publication would help secure funding for the project. So we're asking both members and locals to show their support by participating in this poll. Guest voting has been activated, see above this post.

Interest in this type of Project would be of high interest and I fully support it but cannot see where you say yes this is the kind of thing that keeps our local history alive.

On a lighter note, I fully support the publication of Stevenston Wildlife. If there is a shortage of photos I have a few old my late faither who was a Stevenston man to add to the collection.

When I visited the page without logging in there was no option to vote (the buttons don't appear to the right of the poll questions). This changed after I logged in, so I guess the guest voting isn't working.

Thanks for pointing this out, George. Unsure why this is happening. Could be a browser problem. I don't see this happening when using Google Chrome as a guest.

Was scratching my head on this one, but it seems the the guests permission to vote within this 'My Photos' forum was broken when I made the poll a 'Global Topic'. It should be right now it's housed in only the 'My Photos' Forum.
