Lizard & key, Lizard & ring

Post by Hughie »

Spotted this wee lizard in our apartment on a recent trip up North here in Oz.
Never thought till after we left, how did it get in, and where was its mammy and daddy?

We get little ones here and call them Geko's (spelling) there was one beside me at the sink one day as tiny as the one in your pic. When I went closer it took a dive off, equivalent to of jumping from the Empire State and just run off along the floor  Yours might be a different species ?

Yes, we call them Gekos here too Anne. Unusual to see them inside. Often see them in our backyards, they tend to drop their tails when frightened. Think the one I featured was a baby - never seen them that small.
