Some scaffolding has been removed from the Medical Centre to give a better idea of what it will finally look like. These photos were taken this afternoon.

Personal opinion, it looks shocking ! There was no bright Architect that could have come up with something resembling the building to the left? I presume that is part of the medical centre?

Trust they didn't pay too much for the second hand facing bricks - looks like they came from a demolished piggery. Even a child with a Lego set could have designed a more attractive building. I hired a building company once to build a long garden wall at a brand new house I'd bought in Coatbridge and I bought the bricks from the house-builder (Christian Salvesen) so they matched the facing brick around the bottom of the house. Because the wall squad used Fairy Liquid as a cement plasticizer so they didn't waste any mortar by it hardening before they could lay the bricks it ended up with a white scummy appearance like the medical centre and when it rained there was a stream of bubbles flowing down the hill from the wall, even 5 years later when I sold it.
