FANTASTIC MOVIE - absolutely one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. The 3D was knockout - and if you could get used to the fact that the audience looked as if they were at a Buddy Holly convention (the 3D glasses were black rimmed - and much more sophisticated than the cardboard red/green ones). I am not a sci fi fan but this was really really well done, great story, wild fight scenes and a romance all mixed in. Would heartily recommend it.

ps - the roads had snow, which had melted a wee bit, then iced over so it was a white knuckle drive there and back but well worth it.

Good to hear, Meg. It said in the review here that the graphics/special effects were fantastic, but the story line left a bit to be desired!

Hello Meg,
We had a bad day for driving here in London, Ontario, Canada. but my
family braved the roads to go see AVATAR. As a special treat for everyone I
wanted to take them into the VIP section, but because it has a Bar the grandkids
couldn't get in. Have to be 19, Cameron 18, and Grant 17. Next year.
The theater is selling out for every showtime.
Of course, agreeing with you 100%. Totally out of this world in the 3D. I thought
the story was very good. Everyone enjoyed it immensely.
On the news it's the top rated show taking in $75 million on the weekend. Not too shabby.

George and I are actually talking about going back to see it again next week - haven't shut up about it but it was that good. Glad you enjoyed it too Bessie. Still white outside - and we are due more snow tonight. Bbbbrrrrrrrr.betteric wrote: Totally out of this world in the 3D. I thought

I think you would miss a lot Morag by watching on a tv - even if it was a hd with all the bells and whistles. Stuff some earplugs in and go to the cinema!
