I've just come across a potentially great program called "Google Earth" which basically brings up on your computer screen, detailed street maps superimposed over aerial photos of just about anywhere by the looks of it. I had a go at bringing up details of Ardrossan & it worked - sort of. I still only have a dial-up connection & it's seen to best effect with broadband.
