The above Scottish Author came to the school I was in last week - to talk to Primary 7 pupils. She writes murder mystery stories based in and around Perth in the 1930's. She really sparked my interest about how she came to writing - and how she settled into writing who dunnits. She inspired the kids (and if truthful me too) to not get too hung up about it, just pick up a pen - or keyboard - and get on with it!

I have just finished her second book - (now want to buy and read her first book) - and really enjoyed it - and what a lovely person she is. This being back at school has it's up side now and again
