Francis Love married Margaret McLauchlan in 1856 and they emigrated to Canada and from there to New Mexico. Is anyone interested in their very interesting life?

Could be your Francis Love was related to Francis Love the Stevenston mason who was fancied as a bit of a poet. There was much interest in this family some years ago on this website. There is also the Love Memorial Hall in Kilwinning which was built by a Love expatriate from North America - can't recall if it was part of the same family.

I have a Francis LOVE in my tree, born 21 April 1782 at Stevenston died 15 July 1860 at Stevenston.
Married Agnes COCKBURN b. 12 Sept 1784 died 15 March 1867.
Is this the same Francis LOVE, any help would be appreciated.
