That's Doddie aid finished. Managed 675 miles (mostly cycling) and Mrs B got 182 miles (walking) which we are quite happy with seeing we missed the first week due to covid. Raised £473 for Doddies MND charity, thanks very much again for your donations they were much appreciated

Re: Threetowners cycling thread
Funny you should ask Brian, I did Millport last Saturday. Still getting out loads but it's the same thing most of the time.

I've been a wee bit under the weather recently, So miles are waaaay down on previous years. Planning a few adventures this year, and hopefully at least one will involve a ferry.
I quite fancy going across to Dunoon and then round the Holy Loch,Kilmun, Strone, Ardentinny, then over the hill to Loch Eck then back to Dunoon. Depending on how long it takes, maybe extending it down to Innelan and Toward Point. Places I remember from holidays when I was a kid.

Thanks very much for sharing bonzo. I have great memories of Millport in my younger years and taking my children to visit must be about 12 years ago it was a lovely sunny day and we all enjoyed the Ritz cafe and of course the Crocodile, then back to Largs for a Nardinis ice cream.bonzo wrote: ↑Fri May 13, 2022 7:13 pm Funny you should ask Brian, I did Millport last Saturday.
