Nice one Meg
The Castle Stalker photo looks a tiny wee bit like Lochranza Castle
And the Solway coast photo reminds me of Albufeira
Keep them coming ...

Didn't know we had so many beautiful beaches in Scotland. Pity about the weather.

Calgary beach on Mull, Luskintyre and Scarista beaches on Harris are three of my favourites that I’ve actually visited.

Meg, did you watch Susan Calman's Secret Scotland? Luskintyre beach was the very last place she visited, spectacular.
Those wimin were in the nip.

Yes, caught that Bonzo - stunning beaches aren’t they.
Re: Your pictures of Scotland 14-21 August 2020
They really are. I'm not the biggest fan of Susan Calman but thoroughly enjoyed these programmes. Made me want to visit/revisit a lot of places once all this nonsense is over with.
Those wimin were in the nip.

I feel the same about SC - Baroness in waiting - but we’ve already decided to stay at home next summer - even if the “world beating, 70% effective, wonderful success” vaccine allows overseas travel. I want to visit the Inner Hebrides and Fair Isle, and revisit Barra and South Uist. Probably cost as much as a visit to Mars .

Meg I would like to visit North Uist and Lochmaddy in particular. My father’s relatives come from there, I was there, I’m told, when I was three years old, but had to come home because I developed whopping cough. I sometimes think I can remember some things about the small holding cottage, but nothing vivid.

The only reason I’ve missed north uist out is because like Lewis and Harris, it’s a bit too “wee free” which means Sunday would be a whole day missed off the weekend - but I don’t suppose that would matter if you are only 3meekan wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 1:23 pm Meg I would like to visit North Uist and Lochmaddy in particular.
