Aye. I'm fed up sittin' here in the hoose because of this corona thing.
Set a pint of Guinness up please and a large Glenlivet next to it. I'll be there in a minit.
I think, my tab's looking no' bad, so I'm on the bell.
Hughie, and everybody in Melbourne, we're hearing some dire news about your city.
Keep us up to date please. We're having a bit of a spike here in NL at the moment, but there's no sign of further restrictions just yet.
The recent good weather has been the cause of the young ones getting together for parties and such-like gatherings. We've seen pictures of beaches black with people; thousands of them, all clumped together, to the frustration of the authorities.
No wonder we're seeing a spike. One infected location is being centred on a pub in a village near where we used to live, where a group of youth had a lock-in a couple of weeks ago.
JD.

Re: Mac's Bar - Our Virtual Cafe
My slate this time JD. As for the group including anti masker, anti vaxxer, under 30 something, you can’t tell me what to doers- they are going to keep us in our blooming hooses until the 12 of never. It’s not just a few either - seemingly there were around 20,000 marching in Berlin last weekend - and even worse - I’m on the waggon - nae drink since June
Cheers ...
Cheers ...

Hi Bobnetau,
That doesn't seem to rhyme with the news we're getting here about lock-downs, curfews, 10,000 dollar fines and police breaking into cars because the occupants refuse to identify themselves.
Sounds as though you guys are taking things seriously; not like some others.
Good on you. JD.

Re: Mac's Bar - Our Virtual Cafe
JD, it is true police have had to smash windows of cars belonging to folk who refuse to give their names etc. they think they are above the law. Also people from Melbourne driving down to our regional area at weekend, and Melbourne Uber drivers coming to Geelong to try and pick up rides as there is very little work for them in Melbourne. Melb is in stage4.John Donnelly wrote: ↑Tue Aug 04, 2020 12:41 pm Hi Bobnetau,

Melbourne has an 8pm curfew but again there are idiots who think the law doesn’t apply to them.
Where Hugh and I live is now in stage 3, personally I think we should have bitten the bullet and just made all of Victoria stage 4 BUT perhaps I find it easy to say that as My family have not lost their income because if COVID

Hahaha, JD it's been finished in oak barrels that previously held rum. Lovely whisky and I drank far too much of it last night.John Donnelly wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 10:05 amWhat in God's name has The Glenlivet got to do with the Caribbean??
