My great,great,great grand-father married Janet brown 1842-1845. The story passed on down through the family is that one of our ancesters was an Artist and designed the coat of Arms for Glasgow.
I looked up the Glasgow Coat of arms, and it said designed by J Brown, But thats all i can find on this long lost Rellie. By the way i cant even find my g,g,g Grand-fathers Marrage details {still looking} I would appreciate any information on J brown. George Fleming
