does anyone remember Ian Simpson, who lived in windmill st saltcoats with his brothewrs dougie and raymond (both still living in the town) and their mother (anne). Ian was my father, and i am just interested to hear of any stories/memories about him, from those that knew him.
also, i am interested in my mother, janet simpson (nee' macavoy) who died around 1982. if anyone has any stories or remembers them, please get in touch.

Hi Simmo,
Not sure if I have the right Ian simpson, there was one who lived at No. 2 Mayfield Place, Saltcoats in the fifties and I'm sure his parents split up and he went to Windmill Street with his mother. Didn't see much of him after that. Was his father an Officer in the Royal navy?
