Sailors' Graveyard

Post by Jayjay1 »

Does anybody from the Three Towns have photos or transcripts of graves from the old graveyard down the west coast from Lochranza? I'd be interested to see these as there are lots of sailors in the family. Something I wish I'd known about when I visited Arran.
Cheers, Jayjay

In the 1980s, all the inscriptions on graves in Cunninghame District Council cemeteries were transcribed. They can be seen at the Heritage Centre in Saltcoats. The contact details can be seen on http://www.north-ayrshire.gov.uk/reside ... seums.aspx.
