Last week i had to uninstall this freebie antispyware it caused me so much trouble at start up,had used it for years and had no problems until now.

I take it you're using 2.0 ver 12.130, it's not that great, that being said it crashes with other Spyware,and that's generally where the problems lie,and it might be them that is causing the problem
Avast is good as is Advanced SystemCare 6, but they might not provide all that you want.

Filehippo and Major Geek provide more open source Spyware

I would also say if using or downloading and installing Open Source software,Only install the basic version and not the add ons that you'll have the option to install
