Voted. Ian would be a worthy winner of that award, the work he does is absolutely incredible. He's out for hours picking litter up most days, anybody that's been down to Stevenston Beach recently will have noticed a huge difference. I've never seen the beach and surrounding areas look so clean.

Took a walk over there to-day and I note that a lot of trees next to the orchard have been felled and many more marked with a dye. Iain any idea what's going on?

5siamese7, this is orchard expansion work. We got funding to double it in size. It should be finished by the end of the month. They've also done a bit of tree surgery on the pine tree there - I think it looks a lot better.

Went passed the orchard to-day and some really good trees have been planted. Lets hope they are left alone to flourish. Saw a roe buck where the wild flower garden was to be. Hope he leaves the tree alone.
