The new GLEN SANNOX will be launched at Port Glasgow on 21st Nov by the First Minister. Unfortunately it will not now be going in to service at the summer as planned, as technical issues regarding its new fuel systems will delay it for a number of months.

Latest news is that the new ferry`s bow will need to be replaced!
This will be done during its scheduled drydocking following launch. The builders deny that there was any design fault in the plans. The date for entering service isn't altered as a result of this. It is still the rather vague winter 2018/19!
