Anyone Fancy A Toilet???
Anyone Fancy A Toilet???
Hi.
The Cooncil are offering a toilet at South Beach. It is up for grabs to be turned into a cafe at a cheap price. Part of the deal is you have to let all of joe public in to use the loo.
You may think this is a joke. Sadly it is not.

Aye. Reads like an April Fool. It isn't.
It is on the NAC website as a business development.

There are many countries here in Europe, (Spain for example), where pubs and restaurants by law must allow the public to use their facilities.
With practically no public toilets these days, it makes eminent sense.
JD.

Yes JD but the nearest facility after this is in Saltcoats.
This would be a small venue and would be chaos.
Suggestions are going on FB for a name for the cafe. It ain't pretty.

A good name would be 'The High Pee'. Just came to me as I'd been thinking about us young lads in the boy's toilet at Eglinton.

Don't know why council has to specify public use. I'm sure the old law of knocking on one's door and asking to use your facilities would apply.
Re: Anyone Fancy A Toilet???
I suggested 'Cafe Pee'.
