New Seat at Rec Gates

Finally saw the seat at Rec Gates yesterday. No way is anyone gonna sit there. EVERYBODY would be looking at you from buses. I can't think what has possessed the Council to do this.

It could be a godsend for somebody who isn't too fit and has walked up the brae and is out of puff.

I agree with Vivc a seat at the top is worse than useless,much better to have one half way up the hill.

I go up that hill like a whippet and never see anybody attempt it who would need to stop half way.

Your an expert in COPD are you? Its a complex condition and I have good days and bad days but I can still manage the Rec brae usually not being too out of puff. Maybe the whippet was an exaggeration, enjoying your meat free days I hope.

Saw the seat at the top of the rec hill today at least a couple of folk can sit on it the seats at the quarry are single seaters.
