Re: Snowflakes Keep Falling on My Head
I was 25 miles inland all day and never saw a flake of snow. What's happening to the climate? Normally, when I drive down to Ardrossan all traces of snow disappear just before the Mill Farm on the Dalry/Ardrossan road, which I've always attributed to the salt in the sea air. Now, you've got the snow and we haven't?
The flooding elsewhere in Scotland is almost beyond belief. I went a walk in the afternoon and found about 200 yards of my favourite woodland path washed away. I've been walking it off and on for 35 years and its gone!

Nothing is ever really lost to us as long as we remember it.

Here's a video of Fridays snow. I've never seen snowflakes as big before.

Re: Snowflakes Keep Falling on My Head
Hi Michael,
Great pictures just been having a wee scan through them , other than the Shell inn at the cross Stevenston
has completely changed since my times there. So really need to get back through and visit in the near future.
I have been reading through a lot of the posts on here since I joined and learned so much from it.
I have also found quite a few photo's that I am in that other folk have posted one name in particular was very
familiar as I went to school with him James McCubbin not sure of the correct spelling he seems to have done very well posting these.
Noticed there are not so many posts lately just wondered if Jim is still posting thought it may be nice to say hello and who knows maybe buy him a pint when I am next back on a visit.
Well thanks again for the great pictures and for prompting me to make the visit soon.
Regards,
Tommy
