Personal (IMAP)

Hi,

I woke up this morning to a message on my Android to say that IMAP may have been 'disabled', and I could not retrieve my Hotmail. I use the app for Outlook.

I removed the Account from my 'phone, and, after several attempts, managed to re-install it. It would not accept my password initially then it did.

Does anyone know why this would have happened ??

I think it may have updated and reset.But if you read through these two articles that might give an idea, these are fix-it, which you don't appear to need now , but would give an inclination
