I see Facebook and Twitter as though they are daily newspapers. What's written today is in the bin tomorrow. No-one is interested. Forums are more like libraries. You go there for information that will still be there tomorrow for you to go back to. We need daily newspapers. We need libraries. They can both live with each other.

Totally disagree...........Libraries ,on the other hand, are whole different thingWe need daily newspapers.

As always, John. Database backups are done on a regular bases through the server's control panel and also manually by me through phpmyadmin and stored in a couple of places including my home safe.John Donnelly wrote:Amen.

Sad times re: libraries. In Scotland, they are sadly becoming more like community hubs.
Cannot beat a good old read at a newspaper sometimes, or a good old book to read.
Facebook can unfortunately fill up with a vast array of rubbish. As, indeed, can Twitter.
