Does anyone out there have any old Newspaper article from the official opening of the new Kilwinning Academy away back in in 1976.

Or any information on the school itself

I think it was 1977 it opened in the August. I remember standing at the gates of Abbey primary on the Dalry road side as a 6 year old watching the final construction before it opened. Hope this helps.
