Netta, Eddy McCracken lived over the road in Beggs Terrace from the Martins before the family migrated to Oz. Next time Eddie's down our way ask his opinion.

Showed Eddie the picture - He wasn't much help but he did recognise Angus and John Phelps and Sadie Keyes.

I was speaking to someone today who was anticipating a visit from Jean Lennox (fourth in from the right in the back row of the photo) so, without providing any information, I asked for her to be challenged about anyone called PATRICIA in her class at Eglinton.

The answer came back to me tonight - PATRICIA MARTIN!

Since Jean didn't have access to the photograph this doesn't mean that the girl we're debating is definitely Patricia but it certainly adds weight to the argument.

Met Jean Lennox's sister today Jean has not seen the photo yet but confirmed by phone that Patricia Martin was in our class and since there was only one person not accounted for in the photo she must be Patricia Martin. The more I say her name the more it seems correct.

Having looked at the photo again I notice at least one person missing. Bobby Thomson a great Killie fan and a boxing fan is not in the picture.

Netta
the class did have two John Thomsons. Mrs Bush renamed them Johnny and Jack to avoid confusion. I remember the one renamed Jack was not happy.
