Hughie, thanks so much for posting these photos. I thought I'd have a look and low and behold...............my great great Aunt is in the first one (Miss Francis). She was a sewing teacher. Absolutely wonderful!!!!!

Although I have lived in Edinburgh since 1963 it took a visit to my daughter in Ontario to discover Threetowners. That is where I am posting this from as I am thoroughly enjoying it. I moved on from the Academy in, I think, 1947 but so many of the faces in the photographs brought back memories. Many thanks, Hughie!
