Sam,
I reckon you are second from the left; that you must have got the fags from "The Three Blind Mice", and it's Coodham Retreat you've been visiting, near Kilmarnock?

Re: couldham 1962
I remember my grannie taking us to Coodham one year. Do not know why but it seemed important to her at the time. It was a day trip not a retreat. Who knows, maybe someone important was visiting that day. Anyway, the only thing that stuck out in my mind that day and to this day was that most of the priests were smoking! Up until that time I never knew that priests smoked...humans after all despite my Catholic school upbringing. LOL

Seems we had annual retreats ...I remember just walking the lovely grounds.

Yea, well. I missed that. The place was crowded the day we visited and my grannie would not let us wander....there were four of us...'nuff said.morag wrote:.....I remember just walking the lovely grounds.
