Anyone in favour of Juventus winning tonight?
Re: Champions League.

Re: Champions League.
When I watch a match on TV I need to be rooting for one of the teams and tonight it'll be Juventus.
There will be a twinge of disappointment though if Bale, coming back from injury, gets selected for Real Madrid and loses in front of his home crowd.

Nothing is ever really lost to us as long as we remember it.

Why is the roof shut on a summers night in Cardiff?

Security bonzo. Something to do about drones...

Oh well. At least it didn't finish in penalties which I hate. Real were definitely the stronger Team. Sorry for Buffon. Quite an unglorious finish for him. However I think the referee exagerated with the Yellow cards, mostly to the Italians.

Working with some lads from napoli today, they were delighted juventus got bt. Seems their rivalry is our equivalent of the old firm.
Re: Champions League.
I always thought roma were napoli's biggest rivals, but I suppose most teams in Italy don't like Juve.

How did you guess? My husband, a Milan supporter, used to say he had nothing against Juventus, it was the fans that irritated him! However it is always one country against the other, and it would have been nice if Italy had won instead of Spain.

Use to love watching the italian football. In the early days of sky sports, that was their main lge for football coverage, before they acquired the English premiership, as it was then.glenshena wrote:How did you guess? You can still get coverage of it here if you are a bt subscriber. But just feel most of their stadia is devoid of atmosphere, due partly to low crowds & old stadiums needing updated.
The Italians have still a strong hand when it comes to the champions & europa lges, & can never be discounted. But I might have a few quid on the national team when the world cup comes around next yr.
Forza Italia!
