Andy Murray has pulled out of us open due to on going hip injury. That's him, djokovic, wawrinka, nishikori & raonic all out.

Sad to hear this on the news this morning - wonder if this will bring early retirement for him? Hope not..

Disappointing news but it just goes to show the stress the top players are putting their bodies under. The amount of long term injuries the top players have just now is unbelievable.
Those wimin were in the nip.

Heard this on the news yesterday Bonzo and feel sooooo depressed. Wimbledon just won’t be the same if he has to retire - although he will coach, I’m sure.

Fingers crossed ....

In the scenario Andy does not regain full fitness and form, I'm pretty sure i can speak for most members that he put a bit of pride back to all of us from the Bonny. :)

Andy’s just came through hip surgery. Fingers crossed he’ll be back playing on grass by the summer - he seems hopeful.

Looks like he'll miss the French and is targeting Wimbledon, like you say meg here's hoping.
