I was "thinking" the other day Steve could be a dark horse for the Scotland job. Kilmarnock have done well to secure his services with the wealth and talent he has.

Steve Clarke's dad Jim was a fine player until forced out of the game by a bad injury. I have good cause to remember him fondly from St. Mary's.

I stand corrected. It's been more than 50 years since I last saw Jim.
Re: The Scottish Premiership
Great semi final yesterday for about 15 minutes in the 2nd half I really thought hibs had the beating of celtic. I've got a wee feeling motherwell will sneek it today........but I'm very rarely correct
Those wimin were in the nip.
Re: The Scottish Premiership
Another closely contested Betfred Cup semi-final today, but overall I thought Motherwell deservedly won in the end - so you weren't wrong with your prediction this time bonzo.
Looking forward to next months final.

Re: The Scottish Premiership
Motherwell impressed me and i should think will give Celtic a tough one in the final .
Steve Robinson, the well manager is going to go places and could Brendan Rogers tenure at Celtic park be ending soon as possible vacancies at West Ham and Everton could tempt him. ?

Here's hoping the Cup final's a very competitive affair brianf.
Regarding Steve and Brendan though, did you read that stuff on twitter?

michaelm -I don't do the likes of twitter or facebook. I see the Everton joabs up for grabs- maybe now not for Brendans liking,if he is at Celtic park this time next year am a dutchman.
Re: The Scottish Premiership
brianf, who knows, you may or may not be right there as good Coaches will always attract attention from elsewhere.
Re: The Scottish Premiership
Can't really see any reason for Rogers to leave, he's a self confessed celtic man and he's one result away from European football after Christmas.
He's not going to get a top 4 job in the epl and most other vacancies that will come up will be at the poison chalice kind of clubs ie a couple of bad results and your on the broo.

Think this is the same Jim Clarke, who was at St. Mike's in my class, good player, Lou Macari and Jackie Logan too, all really good at football!Jim McCreadie wrote: ↑Sat Oct 21, 2017 3:15 pm I stand corrected. It's been more than 50 years since I last saw Jim.
