bonzo, my earlier post wasn't really a reply to yours, I was just pointing out what many folk thought about the situation at the time ... and still do.

Looks like things could be about to get messy. If interested, click on this link to Heart of Midlothian's website then scroll down to view the Club's official Statement.

brianf, yeah Hearts have a right to feel aggrieved, but to my mind their form on the park, like that of some other clubs, simply wasn't good enough.
Should be fun and games now they've said they'll go down the legal route, but it's definitely not what Scottish fitba' needs right now.

brian f, yes back to business as they say. It'll be strange for the fans watching games on tv in empty stadiums until they're allowed back in. Leaving aside any other contenders just now, one thing's for sure, punter's who've been tipping Celtic to win the league at the start of every recent season will no doubt get it wrong at some point, likewise those of a Rangers persuasion who habitually tip their own team to win it are bound to be right sometime.

The question is, will it be this coming Season ? :)

exile, I reckon Ewan Murray is just regurgitating old hat there for the sake of a story. Leaving aside Celtic's sole dominance in recent years, our top league here has pretty much been a two horse race for decade's. He rightly points out other top leagues in Europe that are dominated each season by a few elitist clubs, but then attempts to make us believe there's a difference between them and the Scottish Premiership. Nonsense. :)

Kitty wake
I agree with every word you say but wouldn’t it be nice if there was real competition from all areas of the league?
