The storm that saved a city

Post by bonzo » Thu Jan 11, 2018 6:25 am

Excellent piece of TV last night about the storm that hit the central belt of Scotland in 1968.

I'm to young to remember it but have read about in the past. It not only tells of the storm but the regeneration of Glasgow at the time. A great piece of social history and shows how far we've come in 50 years.
Those wimin were in the nip.

I remember it Bonzo - and the havoc it caused at the coast as well. Great program though - well put together.
