According to channel 4 the best musical of all time was Grease .No 2 Sound of Music. 3. Wizard of Oz. 4. West side story. 5. Mary Poppins. I think I would agree.

So many to choose from Cats, Phantom of the Opera, Chiti chiti bang bang, Jesus Christ Super Star, 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat, and many others I like them all

A bit off topic, but maybe interesting.
Sean Connery made his screen debut in South Pacific. He was one of the dancing sailors in the Nothing like a dame scene.

I loved Oaklahoma and Calamity Jane. The programme on Channel 4 was at the end when I tuned in, there were 100 nominees in all, I missed the other 95, hopefully they will repeat it in the future.

Went to the Kings Theatre on Friday to see 'Cilla the Musical' . It was brilliant the singing by all the cast and the girl playing Cilla in particular was amazing. Great to hear the songs from the sixties again when pop was pop.
