Britannia is the latest series we've watched. Set in roman times kind of game of thronesy but enjoyed it. Again loads of violence not for the weak stomached.

Sat up til 1am this morning watching Save Me a gripping drama about an estranged couple who's daughter has been kidnapped by a pedophile ring.
A dark piece of TV with a great cast. As I say we couldn't take our eyes off it binging all 6 episodes last night.

Today I binged out for some time on You tube watching Eddi Reader's videos. How could I have been unaware of this home grown Scottish talent. I love her comments at the start of this video:

I met her mother, Jean Reader, a couple of years ago. She was a tireless worker for Age Concern in the Bourtreehill area of Irvine, running a lunch club for 'auld folk,' many of whom were much younger than her.

I recall her saying that her family had moved to Irvine from Glasgow in 1975, when Eddi, I think was 15.

I didn't know before this meeting that Eddi had also been a member of the group "FAIRGROUND ATTRACTION."

We went and saw her perform in a hotel many years ago. A good night.

Over the last 5 weeks or so we've been binging on the Sopranos, didn't watch it the first time round but it's a fantastic series.
