I have just put on Roots on tv demand for the misses. Currently showing on bbc4 i thought it was the sheer brilliant original that was on the tellies in the seventies, but apparently it's a remake.

Hi Sarah, a German friend of ours has been nipping our heads to watch it. She has actually picked up a lot of her English from it. So we thought we'd give it a go. Enjoying it so far. I believe some of it was filmed at Dunure.
