Just watched The Angel's Share - the language is a bit 'rich' - but totally realistic. Great movie - really enjoyed it and would recommend.

I went to see "Girl on a train" the story line was good but it was a bit hard to follow, as well as jumping all over the place time wise the female characters, other than the title character, looked too much alike. I would like to have seen how Hitchcock would have directed it.

Went to see "Inferno" the latest in the Dan Brown series. Quite enjoyed it, though it differ slightly from the book it was quite enjoyable. Unfortunately they changed the ending a bit, you would not know if you hadn't read the book. Hd the ending been left the same it would have had the same result which I think was much better.

I found this when I read the book all this jumping about made it hard going and in particular the characters were so boring.meekan wrote:I went to see "Girl on a train" the story line was good but it was a bit hard to follow, as well as jumping all over the place time wise the female characters, other than the title character, looked too much alike. Last night I watched " Intruder in the Dust" on u tube and it is very affecting. When the local white trash heard that a n-gger was going to be lynched and burnt for shooting a white man they came from all over to see the spectacle. There are a few heroes in this story but the best is an elderly white woman who denied the mob from taking this innocent man from the jail. A horrible time for negroes in the South.

Watched girl interrupted last night. A group of young women and their times in a 1960s psychiatric ward. Really good film if a little long, 2.5 hours.
