Airfix aircraft models are releasing a1/72 scale model of the Bristol Beaufort he flew when he won the V.C.He flew it through enemy fire till he released his torpedo and then was shot down and killed with his crew.I am told he was brought up in Kerelaw House in Stevenston.

Blenhiems, beaufighters and mosquitoes were my favourite planes growing up so aye I've read up on this, pretty sure he's been mentioned before on the 3Ts :good:
