Hello 3Towners!
I'm looking to find out the real name of a street in Ardrossan that was apparently known colloquially as 'Fenian Row'. I don't have any geographical info as to where exactly it might be, so I know this is a long-shot! Any help anyone can give me would be most appreciated.

Re: Searching for a street name
Hi Jennie,
I believe the general area behind and to the seaward side of Princes Street is the area generally said to be Fenian Row. So, there is no particular street I can see mentioned. The books by Patrick O'Connor, Down the Bath Rocks and In a Marmalade Saloon for the most part are dedicated to the residents there who were mostly Irish incomers.
The following from The Ardrossan & Saltcoats Herald June 1878.
