Intimations 19 December 2018
Re: Intimations 19 December 2018
Sorry to read about Jim McIntyres death. Jim was a school chum of mine who in our school days stayed in Clyde Terrace.
Re: Intimations 19 December 2018
Meekan, we wondered if it was Jim from Clyde Terrace. Condolences to the family.

Yes he was and he had an older sister Sadie. He worked in Grubb the Butcher and later drove a taxi.

Re: Intimations 19 December 2018
I came by the attached photo only yesterday and I'm wondering if one of the McIntyre brothers features extreme right in the very back row?
Just to confuse the issue the chap in the centre of the photo is Jim Macintyre, brought up in Rowanside Terrace, Ardrossan, and on his right hand side is, I think, Douglas Davis, also of Rowanside Terrace.
I'm wondering too if the chap on Jim McIntyre's left is 'red-headed' Peter Nichol who was brought up around Weir Road, Ardrossan?
I don't recognise anyone else.
The photo was apparently taken at an 'Air Training Corps' summer camp.

Nothing is ever really lost to us as long as we remember it.

I think Sandy is directly above Peter in the photo
